The empty lost highway beckons its child. She said you were destroying yourself; Messy free-falling - letting the cables sleep.
The city, half-rested, is silent as glass - Metal burning marrow.
Your double brings death, so You carry life, squirming, expansive.
I open my chest, Inviting your hands in the shredding of my mutiny.
Open your mouth. You Still fill me.
Your body is a secret and hungry thing. My manic, ugly rasping brings it to focus, Trickling inside, sketchy.
I tremble at the smell of you; Faint for the burn of my fingers on your smooth closeness.
The brooding scar in your eyes penetrates the night. My veins ache, heavy from all knowledge. I hold you in my breath,
Citrus in each pore.
