I'm listening to Unison from bjork's newest album, Vespertine, and i must say it is fucking amazing! the orchestration is just incredible, and the production is on par with BT (that is a HUGE compliment, coming from me, lol). i've got a few scattered mp3s/singles of hers and if they (and Dancer in the Dark) are anything to go by, i'm in love ;D

I've loved her even before my obsession with electronic music began-what irony is in the notes of her music...i love how she juxtaposes words/symphonic sounds/and electronic flavors all together...she's amazing...AND ONE HELL OF A POET!

unison made me cry the first time i heard it.
i've been utterly, utterly in love ever since i borrowed "Post" from a friend back in school and heard "Isobel".

laurie - i remember you sending me the bachelorette lyrics aaaages ago... and at the time i kinda HATED bjork.... or at least, thought she was an annoying cow, lol...  but oooooh..... i'm listening to unison again now.... and it is just INCREDIBLE... excuse me while i have a heart attack  i wish i had the money for a CD.... GGRRRRRRRRRR......  (i love this bit! "with a beard and a pipe"... heehee!  ) |
