I'm not the type to write a lot of poetry, and I'm not much of an art fan either (I can't name off any painters, sculptist, yaddah... although I can appreciate some stuff) so I'm going for the musical jugular. Oh God, it won't stop bleeding!!!! So anyway, I just wanted to start by saying that overall as a full piece of music (regardless of whether hardly anything on there is really that rare) the two BT CD's are actually quite good. Yeah, the mixes between the first two songs on both disks are kinda weak but I can't deny that everything there (almost everything anyway) is pure BT... and that ain't bad. The second CD kinda lulls in the middle but for the most part it's a totally enjoyable disk, and I have to say I really love the vibe of the fist CD. So there, I recommend it.
EDIT: for those who don't know, in Australia for example, Mo is referring to the new BT CD, Remixes and Rarities, two continuous discs of rare and remixed BT.

OK, can i just say one thing!!!!!!!
WAY OUT WEST ROCKS SHAME! HOLY SHIT....I am going ape-shit over that remix. I heard it a while back, but it's been a while, and now it just slams into me and through me......Jody and NIck did a HELL of a job in making that song sound better than the original...YES! BETTER than the original. BT sounds like he needs his own 900 hotline on it too, which isn't bad to listen to either LMAO.
Don't like the Seal song. Bleck.

i don't know which is worse: 1) that you haven't heard the seal song up until now, or 2) that you don't like it! ARE YOU MAD??

Sorry Laurie, I'm gonna have to agree. That Seal remix is SWEET, how could you not like it? On a happy note I got one of my new birthday presents today (from Dana, thank you sooo much!!!!) That Deep Dish GU is freaking awesome. It's totally worth it for the second disk alone.

well, i finally got myself R+R. and i'm gonna agree w/ Mo - i recommend it! you have to understand that i would go crazy over ANY BT CD that i acquired.... even if it was "ATB's trance-tastic BT remix disc"... and so, even though the mixing is crap (hip hop phenomenon has been sped up ridiculously, much to my amusement...), and the track selection is kinda wonky in places (more what was excluded than what was included), IT'S BT! the idea of a 'greatest hits' of sorts is undeniably kewl - and they included the superior flaming june and remember versions (i.e the remember version from the UK single, and the FJ version from vinyl), along with a nice mix of hits and rarities, original tracks and mixes. i coulda done without the yawn-tastic godspeed mix (gimme the dub anyday) and timo mass's utterly crap NGCBD.... but heh, i ain't really dissing. i think that, given to a newbie, this disc would serve as a nice introduction, even though it's a little samey. my ideal R+R woulda had a really eclectic second disc, with everything from Running Down the Way up to film scores to Solar Plexus.... mixed by sasha! RATING: 7/10
