I have been altered...watching Tool last night induced a hyper state within - I saw sounds, tasted colours; felt the electromagnetic radiation eminating from the tom toms, bass, Maynard’s primordial howls - animal cries dutifully echoed by the seething mass of masculinity around me - change the molecular spins of my atoms.  A glimpse of the endless possibilities of humanity and the power of conscious unconsciousness! Wow!  ;D

i saw them last week (i got free tix cos i was reviewing it and was a bit overwhelmed, being a tool newbie.

Amazing and ironic through; that as Maynard emoted his inner angst through "schism" with his gynaecological freak show as adornments, that he chose to annunciate his soliloquy to sexuality, love and COMMUNIATION by singing the damn song with his back to the adoring masses...  ;D

still is was rather  8), if not a tad robert plant (led zepplin) pretentious!  ;D

I went to see Tool last year when they were out here and did one show. I found it very Pink-Floyd-esque! That is, the style of concert they put on for us, Maynard hid up the back of the stage for most of it, shadow cast against a screen behind him, and there were lasers and a video projection happening all the time. (And of course how can we forget his underwear stint!  8) ).

Funny you should say that Rala, I found the Tool concert to be a mix of pink floyd's the wall crossed with led zepplin - well that was how I tried to explain it to my olds so they'd understand anyway!  ;D
