What's your favorite genre-hybrid film? Mine has to be Dancer in the Dark. i think this is THE most powerful film i have ever seen. it is absolutely incredible. i could literally barely watch the screen - it was so painful. Bjork is so fucking amazing.... you felt EVERYTHING she felt. this is a movie that reduced entire cinemas to utter despair... i challenge you not to cry in this film. i NEVER cry in movies.... but Dancer in the Dark changed that. simply incredible. you MUST see this film. even if you HATE Bjork (how dare you?? lol), this is compulsary. i order you to see it. every aspect, from music to cinematography to acting, is 5-fucking-stars. this film is also a genre-hybrid. i can't believe i sat through a film with elements of a musical in it and didn't even think twice (noramally i would vomit, hehe). anyone else have favorites?
