no, its not intended as misogynistic ("m-i-s-o-g-y-n-y misogyny" to quote one of the only good songs off catatonia's new record) - it was just me mulling over the fact that men don't understand women, and women all band together - you can never go out with one, they always drag a friend along. the opening line was a catalyst thought, when I was thinking that men are just as screwed up we just don't realise it.

EVERYONE is screwed up in one way or another. I'm not excluding myself here either. The trick is learning how to deal with it in yourself and others and adapting to find the best way around it.

basically i was lamenting the fact that i could neither find boyfriend nor girlfriend...what i intend to point out, using the example of the female stereotype at a party/club, that everyone is probably being shy/clingy/stuck in a group and yet all we ever really do is bitch about it and don't make a change. we're all just too busy wondering about ourselves. or something. its one of my faves anyways.
