"can someone recommend an e.e.cummings volume or collection to get? bjork has set three of his (is it a he?) pieces to music - "sun in my mouth" on the vespertine album and two others as b-sides on the acapella "hidden place" single. i can't recall those titles at the moment, but if someone is interested i can go look them up.

oh gawd, i am SO regretting not buying that Hidden Place part 2 single now! *cries*
yes, i want names!
i have a lot of cummings, but his 100 Selected Poems is a good place to start. it contains somewhere i have never travelled, gladly, which is a favorite of many people on the board. i also love AnOther e.e. cummings, which is a collection of prose, avant garde poetry, miscellany, erotic poetry (some of his best work), biography and memoir. it's an absolutely kickass collection, and where i got the poem above from.

"mother heroic" and "foot soldier" are what they're listed as. if that doesn't help, let me know and i'll have a listen and quote some words for you.
okay back to cooking dinner. yay me. *sigh*
