Festival of Festivals

hello everyone!

Well Looks like I am heading up to the hunter tomorrow for a day of endulging! Yes it is the Ivanhoe Wine and Chocolate festival!! wooo... an excuse to be fat and drunk  

So if anyone is in the area and feels like joining me (amongst others) for the day, it's on from 10-4pm at the Ivanhoe winery in Pokolbin Hunter Valley.

well I guess none of you went up to the hunter on the weekend! But just reporting back...

I love wine tastings!! ahh so much alcohol....

We came back with about half a dozen bottles (from various local vineyards) as well as a couple of local cheeses (their brie was gorgeous!)... so a good day all in all  

Well worth a visit up there for a day I tell you.. and the weather was perfect!

cheddar isn't a cheese i'd ever describe as "crisp". but thats probably just me...a lot of things are.

i had a glass of port last night. stuff from my birthday...mmm, v. nice.

all it was missing was the GOOD movie/tv show (i was watching big brother...*shudder*) and someone to share it with.

but...wine and cheese yay! i wish i didn't work weekends so i could do that stuff too!

Mmm yes that stuff from your Bday was pretty good! Especially when drinking it watching the fireworks  

Hey you should take a weekend off sometime and we should get a couple of other people together and venture into the hunter valley, dems good pickin's thar!
